Who are we?

We’re the Youth Gambling Helpline which is part of the national Gambling Helpline. We are trained counsellors here to provide support and information about gambling and gambling problems in New Zealand.

We believe in youth supporting youth, so we have young counsellors and we’ve developed this website with a youth focus.

Who are you?

You are probably someone who’s interested in finding out more about gambling. Maybe you have some concerns around gambling. You might gamble yourself, you might know someone who’s a gambler, or maybe you just want to know more about it.

You can use this site to:

• Find out about gambling and problem gambling
• Assess the safety of your – or someone else’s – gambling
• Learn about the support that’s out there for anyone affected by a gambling problem, especially the Youth Gambling Helpline
• Ask us questions
